Perfectly charming Louis XIII French buffet deux corps from the 18th century. The solid oak volets buffet is wonderfully carved on three sides and decorated with acanthus leaves. This large piece would have originally been used in the salon of a chateau. There are two drawers between the two storage compartments. The corniche au créneau detailing of the pelmet is a beautiful feature! A buffet such as this would make a lovely choice for a large kitchen, salon. Incredible amount of storage! Condition is consistent with age and use.
