This has been in my wife’s family for over 125 years. We have been told it is crotched mahogany, dating back to late 1800s, early 1900s. Stories we’ve been told from the family date it in to the 1800s but we have not proof of this. It is either French or English, and transported out west from the east coast in the early 1900s Needs waxing, but a very solid, sturdy piece I added the brand name just to be able to list… the BRAND IS UNKNOWN TO THE SELLER… it is too old and we can’t find any markings… we are attempting to find and will update
