This is a FABULOUS SIDEBOARD; it is among the best I have ever had. The wood is a mixture of Mahogany & Cherry. It has been refinished back to it's original condition when first manufactured. The marble is marked on the back: Niagra Marble Works, Buffalo, N.Y. The marble is in very good condition with no cracks or chips. In the center of the door is a Copper Victorian Plaque of a Victorian Scene, signed by Elkington & Co., (of England), there is another signature on the other side of the plaque, which I can't discern and the date of 1876. ~The handles have been replaced with new reproductions. ~A new beveled mirror has been installed to replace the old as it was in very bad condition. ~Has 6 small drawers and one long drawer ~One door at bottom for bulky storage, the inside of this cabinet has been re-lined with new wood.
