Elegant Napoleon III sideboard in blackened pear wood, topped with Carrara marble, decorated with gilded bronze ornamentation and inlaid with chiseled brass with motifs of foliage, foliage, flowers and ribbons. It opens with a framed door, decorated with a beautiful composition of chiseled brass forming ribbons, garlands of flowers and acanthus leaves surrounding a vase. This is surrounded by inlaid brass nets and a scalloped bronze arch. This door is equipped with an ornate key accompanying the original lock in working order. On each side of this piece of furniture, the uprights have gilded bronze falls. In the lower part, gadrooned bronze rods surround the recessed piece of furniture. The whole rests on four scrolled feet. The upper part of this support unit is decorated with a floral frieze surrounded by inlaid brass threads. Above, a white Carrara marble veined with gray is embedded and surrounded by shaped bronze ingot molds.
