Small Gothic spirit buffet, in solid walnut in its entirety, except from the top and sides which are in original oak. It is made up of 3 distinct elements, which easily disunteer from each other by an elementary assembly system. The upper part, with a narrowed body, opens by 2 doors, discovering 2 storage compartments formed by the presence of a shelf 33 cm deep. These doors have fittings, a lock in operating condition and its key, the original whole. They are richly ornamed, the most notable elements being his 2 carved characters, themselves supervised by a series of protruding moldings of increasing size. A angel face in the middle of its wings also enjoins this 1st element surmounted by an imposing very worked cornice. His pediment with a rising slopes towards the sky, gives the illusion of a roof on the facade. In its center, a niche houses the removable sculpture of an ancient character. The intermediate part of this buffet, in addition to its multiple sets and friezes, offers 2 drawers, with draw handles. The lower, wider element takes up the same practical and aesthetic characteristics as the upper part, except that it has a deeper shelf (40 cm). Note that the 4 characters represented on the facade of this piece of furniture are all different from each other. The set ends with a molded low cornice and rests on 4 feet 'pancakes': whole at the front, demise at the rear. Era: 19th century Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop.
