Sideboard in the Transitional style, in Walnut, except for the two back legs which are in Cherry. Two boards make up its top, which has a Corbel beak edge, with a light Doucine molding. This piece of furniture is opened in front by two independent doors, nicely worked in Defoncement Mouldings and Panels with a flat band. Each one is equipped with a Hinge and a wrought Iron Entry. The one on the Left is fake, while the one on the right comes with its original key and lock. A removable shelf resting on fixed brackets, equipped with its period hook, trims the interior of this sideboard, offering an interesting storage configuration. The legs give a graceful touch to the whole, by the presence of the crosspiece with cut-out, and that of the quarter round uprights finished by a delicate doe foot. We find on the sides of this piece of furniture panels with mouldings, and balanced curves in the lower part, which echo those on the front.
