A stunning Georgian Revival burlwood silver chest / buffet server. circa 1940s Refined, elegant, sophisticated English styling, exquisitely hand-crafted in the mid-20th century, having a serpentine-front highly figured burled walnut top with hand-carved molded edge, raised gallery backsplash, over conforming case with canted corners, housing two dovetailed drawers with fitted interiors lined for flatware, scalloped apron, rising gracefully on cabriole legs with acanthus leaf knee carvings, ending in pad feet.
