English card table in walnut and maple burl from the first half of the 19th century. The curved tabletop features an all-over maple inlay with leaf motifs and rotates on its own axis to create a storage compartment. The basket-shaped base is typical of the Victorian style and is embellished with leaf-motif carvings. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using traditional shellac and handmade alcohol-based varnish. Provenance: England, 19th century. Dimensions: 90x45 H72 cm.
