This bentwood table (steam-bent wooden base) has an image of a phoenix on the tabletop, a so-called "Intarsia"-Imitation Branddessin (as described in the Thonet catalogue of 1906). Dating: 1st quarter of the 20th century. This table was probably not produced by Thonet, but by one of its competitors at the time: Jacob & Josef Kohn or D.G. Fischel Söhne. In good condition with normal signs of wear for its age.
