A late 19th century French garden table with a cast iron base and a marble top. The base has been cleaned and newly painted in a dark green lacquer. The table base and its top did not start life together but are a well fitted marriage. The top is quite heavy and sits firmly on its base without the use of fasteners. It was found near Lyon.
