Very rare table in the NM& series designed directly for Nationalmuseum in Sweden by Afteroom for Swedish firm Källemo in 2018. Källemo states that only between 40-60 tables were ever produced, including those that are in the restaurant at Nationalmuseum. This is the lower of the two versions that were produced. The L-shaped concrete base holds up the dark grey round table top on a tubular steel stem. This café table is one of the design projects under the NM&, specially created for the restaurant in the Nationalmuseum. Combining straightforward design spirit, it's candid silhouette portrays a sculpture-like apparence. Depending on the occasion, it can be used as a café table or bar table; the height is adjustable, with two heights. 53 and 80 cm, without any complicated mechanism. It's simplicity characterizes it as a functional artwork. The table is overall in a very good condition with light ware consistent with age and use. Small chip on the corner of the base. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
