A monumental vintage thirteen-light electrified candelabrum rendered in heavily ornamented cast brass. The central standard is formed by a beautifully modeled female figure, possibly representing a classical harvest maiden, holding a sheaf of grain or foliage while supporting the multi-tiered candelabra above. Thirteen candle-style sockets are arranged across scrolling foliate arms with leaf-form bobeches and faux-drip ivory sleeves. The substantial architectural base is richly detailed with shells, flowers, acanthus scrolls, latticework and classical ornament. Attachment points beneath the bobeches indicate that the lamp was originally embellished with hanging crystal prisms. The prisms are no longer present, allowing the elaborate metalwork and sculptural silhouette to take center stage. At 34 inches high and approximately 22 inches in diameter, this nearly 18-pound lamp has impressive scale and presence. An exceptional statement for a formal entry, dining room, grand salon, boutique hotel, event venue or collected Hollywood Regency interior. Presented in vintage condition with aged brass patina, oxidation, finish variation, surface wear and marks consistent with age. Crystal prisms are missing.
