Candle Holder Light By Neri & Hu In Yellow Blown Glass

The candlelight rests gently in the center of The Light lamp holder and remains almost as if trapped inside. The blown glass of which the object is made seems to be the hollow of a hand, gently holding the light, letting it float, suspended in a few inches of emptiness; the amber color of the object perfectly matches the flame making its light even warmer and more intense. The Light is manageable and lightweight, allowing the candle to remain stable and completely separate from the tabletop. In this way, the wax cannot stain and the flame cannot come in contact with any material underneath. This piece from Paola C.'s collection, with its geometric, minimalist yet soft form, was conceived by Neri & Hu (Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu) in 2019 as part of The Society Collection, a family of products where each object has its own specific identity in dialogue with the form and materials of the other objects.
