It represents the ongoing progression of the past, present, and future.A candle burning is a visual representation of the passage of time. As the candle burns, the flame gradually consumes the wax, and the candle diminishes in size. This process can be seen as a metaphor for the passage of time, as the candle’s light slowly fades away. FADO is a minimalist candleholder that was designed to support this life metaphor.Handcrafted by artists so that the two geometric shapes meet in a perfect junction.Joana Teixeira was born in Oporto and graduated in industrial design. From very early she realized that her path would be to express emotions through objects.Joana started her career in jewelry to fulfill her taste for detail, however, she felt that her curiosity for the processes and the desire for new challenges needed to be expanded, later embarking on industrial design. Obsessed by emotions and with extreme sensitivity, she seeks to transmit the restlessness with which she observes the world through her pieces.
