Iittala’s Aalto Sand scented candle fills the room with an earthy, spicy fragrance featuring notes of cardamom, black pepper and quince, layered with soft hints of jasmine, suede and orris root. The scent settles into a gentle base of cedarwood, sandalwood and vetiver. Made with 80% rapeseed oil, the candle wax is poured into a ceramic container that echoes the iconic shape of the Aalto vase. Once the candle has burned down, the vessel can be reused as a vase or a small storage jar, for instance. This candle has three wicks.
