Roses Large Candle 21.2 Oz. - Limited Edition

Bloomingdale's

$265

WHAT IT IS: The iconic Roses candle presented in a limited-edition vessel. The scent of a rose bush in full bloom, petals pearled with dew. Hearts blossom like flowers, swallows symbolize freedom. A red banner bears a tender declaration, a play on the language of love. For Valentine's Day, Diptyque invited artist Constantin Riant to create a motif that speaks the language of love in his own hand, dreamed up just for the occasion. Known for his ceramic work, Riant paints in a signature deep blue that recalls porcelain and Toile de Jouy. His strokes tell a story of tenderness, of symbols reborn in a contemporary light. Hearts blossom like flowers ready to open. Swallows take flight, messengers of freedom. Across this landscape, a vivid red banner cuts through, carrying a declaration of affection. The poetry of sentiment becomes visible through glass and ceramics, inscribed in gestures of affection offered and shared. KEY NOTES: Rose FRAGRANCE FAMILY: Floral ABOUT THE FRAGRANCE: A fresh bouquet, set in Constantin Riant's poetic design, the ideal gift for Valentine's Day. HOW TO USE IT: An exceptional artisanal creation, your Diptyque candle deserves the utmost care. Here are a few tips to optimize its lifespan and to help you enjoy it safely. Prepare your space: - Place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface. - Protect delicate materials such as wood or marble with a stand or tray. - Keep candles away from flammable materials. - Keep candles out of reach of children and pets. Light the candle: - Light your candle with a match to avoid any risk of burning yourself. - During the first burn, make sure to let the candle burn until a uniform pool of melted wax has formed (about 4 hours depending on the scent). This prevents the wax from tunneling and allows the wick to absorb the wax properly, ensuring an even burn thereafter. Wicks may produce a small amount of smoke when first lit. While burning: - Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time after the first burn. - Never leave a burning candle unattended. - Do not move a burning or unlit hot candle. - Keep it away from draft. - Leave at least 4" between two candles. After each use: - Snuff out the flame. Use a snuffer to avoid splashing hot wax. - Re-center the wick once the candle is out. - Before relighting your candle, use a wick trimmer to trim the wick (ideal length: 1/4") to avoid risk of fire. Final note: Stop using your candle once there is only 1/4" of wax left or the metal wick sustainer base becomes visible. After care and storage - Air out the room after burning a candle. - Allow the wax to cool completely before moving your candle. - Store it in a dry, temperate place (59-77°F), away from direct sunlight to avoid discoloration, pigmentation or dislodge of the wax.
