Prepare your space: - Place your candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface. - Protect delicate materials such as wood or marble with a stand or tray. - Keep candles away from flammable materials. - Keep candles out of reach of children and pets. Light the candle: - Light your candle with a match to avoid any risk of burning yourself. - During the first burn, make sure to let the candle burn until a uniform pool of melted wax has formed (about 4 hours depending on the scent). This prevents the wax from tunneling and allows the wick to absorb the wax properly, ensuring an even burn thereafter. Wicks may produce a small amount of smoke when first lit. While burning: - Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time after the first burn. - Never leave a burning candle unattended. - Do not move a burning or unlit hot candle. - Keep it away from draft. - Leave at least 4" between two candles.
