Kosta Boda’s Moss carafe, designed by Åsa Jungnelius, is a characterful glass jug with a bubbly form and lively surface that offers a beautiful way to serve water or other refreshments. The carafe is mouth-blown at the Kosta glassworks in Småland, Sweden – a factory with centuries of expertise in glassmaking. The Moss series is based on old molds from the Kosta glassworks, featuring a rippling, textured surface originally carved by hand. The clear, slightly bluish crystal glass is melted down from recycled glass and surplus pieces from other production, giving each item its own unique tone variations, air bubbles and surface texture.
