The pearl ground of this Turkish room size carpet displays sawtooth, curved leaves and small floating turtle palmettes around a light blue lozenge medallion with escutcheon pendants. Light blue is picked up again in the main border. There is a circular motion to the leaves around a center and this makes it unusually appealing as an antique floor piece.
