A Vintage Turkish Oushak room size carpet with a central column of lozenges, cruciforms, and bent leaf brackets, flanked by two columns of conjoined complex Harshang palmettes. The narrow purple main border is strictly Anatolian with hyacinth sprays alternating with simple rosettes. The rust red ground is not quite the ultra-saturated “Turkey red” of the period carpets, but it sets off the various purples admirably. An excellent dining room size carpet. Measures: 8' 1" x 13' 2"
