Sterling silver stylized shell dish would make an elegant addition to any room. Some of it's uses might be as a catchall on a dresser, a soap dish in the powder room, or a very elegant ash tray in the smoking lounge. The backstamp has the Gorham hallmarks in addition to Gorham and Sterling, model number 518, circa 1951.
