Brutalist Ceiling Lamp In Chrome And Pressed Glass From Hillebrand Leuchten, 1970s

Chairish

$1,135

Hillebrand ceiling light in pressed glass from the 1970s with a brutalist and timeless appearance. The square chrome ceiling plate supports four sculptural block-shaped elements in rough pressed glass, creating clear refraction and a spacious lighting effect. The design is attributed to hillebrand leuchten and reflects the 1970s vocabulary in which textured glass and geometric forms were central. The lamp was originally sold in the netherlands by hagoort. dimensions: 30 × 30 × 28 (h) cm / 11.8 × 11.8 × 11 (h) in. The four glass shades measure 21 × 9 × 9 cm / 8.3 × 3.5 × 3.5 in. Source: identification based on identical marked examples with original hillebrand sticker (this piece is no longer marked due to loss of the sticker). The condition of this ceiling light is very good. The chrome shows light signs of use consistent with age, and the glass is completely intact without chips or cracks. The wiring has been checked by an electrician. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, up to 250v (europe/uk standard).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
