Article: Hanging light Design: Ernest Igl Producer: Hillebrand Lights, Germany Origin: Germany Age: 1905s This 1950s light was designed by Ernest Igl and produced by Hillebrand Lights in Germany. The light construction is made of solid metal in a blue, white and yellow lacquer tone finish In the middle the light has a nice round shade element with whole pattern optic for indirect lighting. The shade has whole pattern design which looks really fantastic when the light is illuminated. The light features 3 light socket for e14 bulbs. the light can be used as wall light or ceiling flush mount. The light still remains in a good vintage condition with normal traces of use, some age related patina on the metal parts. several rusty spots on the white back plate and the cover of the light source, please see images. This light is in its original vintage condition, full working. newly wired. Dimensions: Height 41 cm Diameter 8 cm. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
