Originally designed to illuminate Rudolph Schindler’s Bethlehem Baptist Church in Los Angeles, this fixture reflects his “Space Architecture” philosophy—considering structure, light, climate, and mood. Anchored at two points for stability, slender metal rods extend from central hubs, supporting two constellations of exposed globe bulbs that cast light upward and outward. This design emphasizes openness, celebrating both form and function while maintaining a visually light, structurally dynamic presence.
