This ceiling lamp was designed in the 1950s by louis kalff for philips. The design reflects the functional and progressive design language kalff developed during this period, with a clear focus on construction, materials, and lighting effects. The lamp is constructed around a bakelite lamp holder with a large socket, suitable for use with an led light source. A metal bracket is attached to the socket, which supports both the socket and the shade. Three slender metal rods extend diagonally outward, ending in a plastic circle with slats, which together provide stability and an open structure. The round shade is made of soft yellow, semi-transparent fiberglass. This material ensures even light distribution and a calm appearance, both when the lamp is on and off. The lamp has been carefully cleaned by us and is in completely original condition. The shade is intact, without cracks or damage. The lamp can be used immediately.
