This gray industrial wall / ceiling lamp by Maehler & Kaege (MK / model e 1786 / DL 100), also known as "turtle lamp", dates from the 1950s. Very robust design ("heavy duty") - the glass is additionally protected by a steel grid! With a sealing ring under the glass, so the lamp is also suitable for outdoor use. This type of lamp was mainly used in areas where heavy machinery was operated.
