This giant half sphere ceiling or wall lamp was designed by emil stejnar in the 1950s and manufactured by rupert nikoll. The lamp features a brass core mounted with lacquered wire baskets. 15 white lacquered shades holding e 14 bulbs alternate with 15 glass flowers and glass prisms to create the snowball (or "pusteblume") effect after which this piece is named.
