Rare Max Ingrand “Model 2209” ceiling lamps for Fontana Arte, Italy 1960s. A strong and architectural design composed of a matte black lacquered hexagonal cone with a white reflective interior, holding a beautifully thick crystal-cut Murano glass diffuser. The contrast between the raw geometric black structure and the refined, polished, saturated “Nilo Verde” Murano glass creates an attractive visual balance. The diffuser is secured by three patinated brass supports.Crafted to the highest standards, as expected from Fontana Arte during this period. The central E27 light fitting provides an excellent diffuse light output, beautifully filtered and softened through the fresh green-toned crystal lenses, creating a warm, atmospheric glow. The lamps remain in excellent authentic condition, with a beautiful patina consistent with age and use.
