Stunning space age ceiling lamp by famed designer Carl Fagerland for Orrefors Art Glass Studio Sweden, 1954. Orrefors reknowned for their Art glass pieces such as the ‘Snowballs’ & the ‘Stor Grön Boll’ working with Carl Fagerland they created something pioneering with their glass work by hand crafting these delicately motifed blocks of glass for this design. The piece features its original gallery & plastic insert on the base for perfect diffusing of light. The small orange blocks create a beautiful warm light paired with the diffuser; creating a soft atmosphere so indicative of the period. Dimensions: Height of shade - 20cm Diameter - 36cm Condition report: Excellent condition, a small dent on the brass, please refer to photographs but all in great condition, the glass is unchipped & keeps its rich colour.
