Antique center table crafted from fine exotic woods, originating from Nice, France. The oval, biscuit-shaped top features a recessed, curvilinear edge and a large central medallion depicting figures in traditional dress. The entire edge of the top is adorned with inlays of alternating floral and grotesque motifs, interspersed with masks at the protrusions. The central column is highlighted by dense inlay and rests on a curved base ending in four cabriolet legs, also inlaid. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen using traditional shellac and alcohol, applied by hand. Provenance: Nice, 19th century. Dimensions: 110x84 H77cm.
