19th century scottish regency rosewood centre table a 19th century labelled scottish regency rosewood centre table by p&r williamson, inverness. this wonderful table has incredible bookmatched rosewood veneers to the top, which has a glorious colour and patination. There is a half bobbin moulding to the edge and then a plain frieze. The top tilts, allowing the table to be stored upright. The columnar stem with lotus leaf carving and a wrythen turned base. Standing on a moulded triform platform base with wonderfully carved scrolled feet with central paterae. our table has an interesting inscription to the underside, revealing that it was supplied by "p&r williamson, upholsterers & c" of inverness.
