late 19th century swedish birch oval center table circa 1895. fine quality karl johan inspired center table.   quarter veneered flame birch top with an ebonised inlaid border and further cross banded edge.  top is raised on a column base, turned collar which links to the quadriform base and 4 scrolled legs. ideal table to perform as a center table or as a lamp table.  rich golden colour. recently re-polished in our workshop.  1 area of restoration to top surface which has been photographed.  expected very minor surface marks in line with age and use.
