Store Item: Baker Williamsburg Mahogany Chippendale Byrd China Table CW 192 Rare Description: This extraordinary china table is replicated from Williamsburg, Virginia table circa 1770. The original table has ties to the Byrd family of Virginia. Table features a pierced Rococo table skirt with a centered bird surrounded by open fret work. Used to display tea china and silver or alternatively, as a tea table. The beautifully carved gallery was intended to prevent valuable objects from being pushed off the edge of the table. The Baker version of this table was made for a very short period of time, very difficult to find and rare.
