Spectacular hand carved and parcel gilt polychrome center table, or potential games table, with four ceremonially dressed elephants. Round gilt top carved with an art deco filigree border and a stylized quatrefoil center. Polychrome and parcel gilt four part base with center dome surmounting two part plinth. Most likely from Chicago's historically significant Oriental Theater, built in 1926.
