A gorgeous French marble-top gueridon table from the Restauration period (19th century). This round pedestal table is topped with a disc of black, fossil marble with taupe inclusions like constellations and carved to a low lip around the circumference. Below is a mahogany pedestal base shaped and turned to six facets, branching into three scrolled legs ending in paw feet. Small casters underneath facilitate easier movement of this substantial gueridon which can find a multitude of uses around the home as an end, side, or center table.
