This solid walnut wine tasting table, properly known as a vendange, was made in the late 19th century in France. Used by wine-makers throughout France and Europe, these specialized tables have a tilting mechanism that allows its top to be positioned in upright orientation taking up less space in tightly-quartered cellars. A quick twist of the V-shaped support leg locks the oval top in place when flat. This unique table would be delightful as a center table to greet your guests, as well as in an informal dining space like a breakfast nook.
