Wonderful George II period console, circa 1740, with later marble top. This is actually a center table because it’s finished on all four sides, and thus can be placed in the middle of a room. Beautifully veneered green marble top is supported by a walnut base with a cavetto molded frieze, supported by tapering cabriole legs terminating in pad feet.
