This Victorian parlor table is hand-crafted from walnut with a curved octagonal top and hand-turned legs, dating to approximately 1890. I recently had the top refinished and the grain of the wood is gorgeous. You can see where it creates a pattern where they split the wood in half to show the two pieces mirroring each other. This was very thoughtfully crafted. I love it because the center part looks ike an octopus and gives it a little steampunk flare. 20,000 Leagues under the Sea vibes maybe.
