A rustic Gustavian painted pine table from the 1820s, Sweden. The waxed pine table top is removable and rests on a painted base. There are two storage drawers in the deep apron, easy-to-use with new glides. Many thin layers of paint wash the frame, blending light blue and red in that ethereal "scraped" finish so desirable of Gustavian antiques. This large table, which has recently been tightened for stability, is perfect as a large console, center table, and many more unexpected functions around the home.
