The piece reproduces one of the first objects Mottahedeh made in Italy. Finely detailed artichokes form a pyramid which astounds and delights the eye. Painted with green, pink, magenta and touches of gold. A favorite with brides, Mottahedeh specializes in luxurious patterns and unique, elegant shapes that are reproduced from china found in museums and historical societies.
