Glass fusing basically means building a new solid-state glass, assembling different pieces that, in contact with heat, varying from 800 ° C to 850 ° C, become so fluid that they join together deeply and irreversibly.The cooling is very slow in order to allow the total reorganization and recovery of the molecular stability that the material possessedbefore being heated. Glass fusing allows, using colored compounds (enamels, oxides) to produce polychromeobjects.The work of the artist uses two main tools: heat and the force of gravity. The result depends on the degree of communication between the artist, the glass and the oven he uses.This handmade masterpiece is a unique piece, made in Italy.
