Made of oak and charred, this centerpiece uses Riccardo’s signature technique of charring timber – the ancient Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban. This method, which is ecological and completely natural, protects the wood by making the surface waterproof. The charring lends a luster and smoothness to the boards’ surface, creating a perfect backdrop for one's home. Due to handcrafting, patterns and sizes may vary slightly in each item.
