The ceramic exterior is engraved with a steel tool following a Sambuco method, creating small, square-shaped tiles onto the surface adorned with parallel lines on a white and yellow background. A hand-painted gold band adorns the edge of the flared rim for a precious finishing touch. To create the piece a total of three firings in the kiln are required.
