As a designer, I am captivated by the boldness and inventiveness of Italian design – from the daring creativity of the Memphis movement to the refined elegance of mid-century masters. The fearless use of colour, the sculptural forms, the playful yet thoughtful compositions – all of it pulses through Lucida Luce, guiding each creation. Lucida Luce is about light as a statement, which is the essence of my designs. It is about the joy of seeing ordinary interiors transformed into extraordinary experiences. It draws from the radical visions of Ettore Sottsass, Gio Ponti, and others who dared to design with humour, edge, and emotion. And it captures the modern essence of Milan today – the dialogue between classic and contemporary, the unexpected glamour in everyday life.
