Exceptional pair of 18th century Dutch marquetry chairs. Each chair’s center back slat is inlaid with a seated noble holding a septore below a ewer, terminating in a shaped upper crest rail with a bird and flowers. The shaped seat apron is inlaid with flowers and a stylized masque leading to gracefull cabriole legs terminating in hoof feet.
