These are a matched pair made by Old Colony of Boston I have contacted a the grandson of Old Colony and he confirmed that they were a experimental model that did not go into production. The chairs are made of solid mahogany and very finally carved. The chairs have their original needlepoint seats. Oddly the needlepoint seats signed and dated 1945. Beautiful pair.
