1940s vintage, dainty, lyre-style back, gilded side chair with velvet tufted seat. This is an adorable accent chair with beautiful detail. The vintage chair is very sturdy with the double supports in the front (turned and stylized) and on both sides. The legs also have wheels on the bottoms. The rich ruby red velvet is in wonderful condition with the detailed tufting and nail work on the seat. The wood is gilded a rich antique gold color, which makes for such an elegant and timeless look. The chair measures 35” tall by 16” wide by 16”deep
