My Vívido sculptural chair combines aesthetic form with a functional seat. In other words, it's a conceptual hybrid. These photos show it seen both on a pedestal in an art gallery and featured in a Victorian sitting room. One of its most striking features is its intense polychrome palette. Its bottom is especially vivid – you might even display it resting upon a mirror or suspended in mid-air! It carries my chop on its underside on one of its frame's structural blocks. Its legs, stretcher and back strut are made out of parallel strips of laminated wood – plywood, in other words.
