A pair of 19th century Glastonbury chairs in oak. The glastonbury chair has been made from the 15th century onwards, and it is rare to find matching pair These are a good example, they are made in solid oak, the backs have a fielded panel and they are in the classic X frame style. The chairs are in good condition, a good plain design. There are some cushions that have been made for the seats and backs of the chairs. The chairs are 33” high, 28” wide and 24” deep with a seat height of 18”.
