This exceptional Italian Liberty high-back chair, crafted in solid walnut and attributable to the school of Vincenzo Cadorin, represents a refined example of early 20th-century Italian decorative arts. The finely carved crest rail features a striking zoomorphic composition of two confronting birds intertwined with flowing vegetal forms, carved in high relief with an openwork center.
