Ancient oak barley twist Jacobean throne chair with intertwined grapevine motif from the 1880s. Has a beautiful needlepoint tapestry seat (fitted circa 1900) in place of the original cane-weave seat. This is an excellent and sturdy example of a Victorian era hall chair revival for a classic 17th Century design. In my family for over 130 years!
